Baby Name Cloud with droplets Tutorial

Hello my dear viewers! I'm feeling extremely creative this week, so here is another felt tutorial for you. Today, I'm going to show you how to create this cute Baby Name Cloud with hanging droplets. This cloud is made for my little nephew who will be here soon, so I had decided to create something cute for his nursery. The name on the cloud is in Russian, but of course you can write in whichever language or style you prefer.

For this tutorial you will need fabric glue, different colour threads and felt material, pins, needle, cotton and a pair of sharp/good quality scissors. The reason for good quality scissors is to easily cut out neat felt shapes as felt can be very fluffy and hard to manage. Last but not least use your imagination, I also used different size/colour buttons and a felt maple leaf for decor. If you want to know where I got it all, I will be posting a separate blog post.

Draw and cut out paper shapes of a cloud, baby name letters and droplets. I use ordinary A4 paper, you can use cardboard paper for this too to make your patterns more durable if you want to make any of the crafts in the future.

Angry Bird Felt Tutorial

Hello again, everyone!
Today I'm going to to show you how to create an Angry Bird out of felt. In my case, I had created it as an accessory for my husband's car.
For this tutorial, you will need: felt fabric colours of an Angry Bird. You also require fabric glue, scissors, threads, paper to cut out patterns, cotton, few sewing pins and a needle.
First thing you want to do is to find an Angry Bird with an emotion you like, I found mine on Internet.
Once you have decided, draw and cut out all shapes.

Fabric/ Decor Haul

Hello everyone.
So recently I have received decor and fabric items I had ordered from Ebay and Aliexpress. First of all, I didn't have a lot of stuff to begin with, so I had to work with what I have found from my Home Economics class back in school.
These are the items I had decided to buy so I could start creating things with more colour and creativity.

Love Birds Felt Tutorial

Hi everyone. I hope you liked my first tutorial, if you haven't seen it yet, go check it out here . This is my second tutorial I happened to create straight after an owl as I really liked doing it and went ahead and tried something a bit more complicated.
To create these love birds, again you can choose whichever colour felt or threads you like. You also need fabric glue, scissors, paper to cut out patterns,sewing pins. This craft requires a lot of different colour fabric, unless you want to keep it simple.

First felt creation- Owl tutorial

Like I had promised, this is my first tutorial on how I created this cute owl. This is my first ever work with felt including stitches or paper patterns. If you want to learn how to do it, then keep reading:)

 Cut out a pattern, there are plenty of them on Internet, I just re- drew mine from a picture of a felt owl I have found on Google.

Few more days

Hi!
 In the past couple of days I have been browsing the Internet in search of inspiration for my hobby which I'm planning to start some time next week. So far, I have found so many amazing things/people from all around the world that have an interest in it , and to think that I might join it soon is just so exiting! First of all I want to make my little corner in our spare bedroom, which means absolutely everything- shelves, desk and of course materials. I want to make it cozy and warm looking. Until then, I will start re-doing my blog to suit my future hobby:)

Changes

I finally have found a good use for my blog. In the next few weeks I will be re- vamping it to suit what I'm hoping to start doing as soon as get everything sorted! I will keep you guys updated on the process and when I finally start, I will reveal/explain it in depth. I'm going to leave you at that, it will be interesting to know what you think it's going to be!

Dream pet

Hi everyone! I'm back again, I know I keep disappearing but up until now I had nothing major to tell you. First things first, I got a new dog! It was my childhood dream to become an owner of a dog some day and approximately 3 weeks ago I finally got one. She was already named and now thinking about it, Bella suits her so much! She is 1,5 years old and is an Australian Terrier. She is absolutely adorable, so playful!

My little hobby

I have an Owl Hobby! It was a coincidence! I was randomly browsing for a sleepy type of an owl for my Twitter status, when I came across a collection of painted owls by K. Chin artist (not promoting this person). I have made a little start up collection from different people or websites. It became my long term hobby, so now I'm collecting everything owl related. I'm still in search of owl decor in shops near by, and I have found few, which hopefully I will buy next week for our house. I plan to decorate our house with few owl bits- Owl door stops are a must, Dunnes (shop in our area) sold them few months ago, but I didn't think about it then, which I regret now.

Greenway Field trip

Night All!
This field trip was probably the worst one so far. Basically, Green way is located on the West side of the country. It's a 42 km cycling track/path where you hire a bike and cycle as much as you want. Of course, we didn't have a choice but to cycle straight ahead and never turn around, because of crazy bus driver was already at the finish line, waiting at Mulranny Hotel! I was half dead by the end of 3 HOUR cycle!
The views were beautiful when you neared the bay and the hotel, but before it, you only see sheep and empty fields. The wind was aweful- blew at your face the whole way, which made it difficult to cycle. All in all we had cycled only 18 or 20 km of it, which is still a lot, my body hadn't forgiven me that trip yet.
What can I say? If you do some sort of physical activity each day or at least on a regular basis, you would probably be ok, and even cycle to the very end of that track, but I pass! I haven't cycled since I was an early teenager, and I will not sit on a bike for another 10 years or so!
Here is a pic I took while on a mini break I did every now and then. Beautiful, isn't it? ( As you can see, it's near the bay)

Busy College Life

Good Sunday Night!

I always love to write during night time, that's when I can get my thoughts organised. I've been off the Blog for so long and so many things have happened. I won't go too far back with the events, and just focus on college. I'm almost at a finish line, guys! Right now, I have about 3 weeks left which are packed with a lot of work. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the end of this semester so I can finally relax!
As for my Blog, I've decided to post few separate entries tonight, all unrelated to each other.

Тепло,первый отдых на пляже, даже загореть успела-правда перебор с кол-вом часов под солнцем, но этот загар того стоил))
Еще чуть-чуть осталось до главного события года:)

R.I.P. Timochka

It's a sad note that I had decided to write after a long time. At the end of March, my second Guinea Pig Tima had died! It was a very bad evening for me, I haven't seen him before that, due to college.He was of course, one of the best pets I ever had. Because it's so heartbreaking when they die, I've decided not to have anymore pets...Timochka will never be replaced by any other domestic animal, as well as Simochka.
R.I.P. my furry little animals! xox

Опять эти бессонные ночи. Люблю тишину в доме, когда все спят кроме меня. Ночь- это умные и скрытые мысли- вещи, о которых никогда не задумываешься днем))) 


Скоро долгожданное лето- много интересных и веселых событий.

Twenties and college!

Hi Folks!
I'm back to writing! Again, for those who follow my blog -sorry for no writing anything for so long, I have reasons not to put my nose here!!

 Few days back I've entered my 20's i.e. had a wonderful Birthday!! Everything seemed more emotional to me, maybe it's the age now ...ha ha... anyway, it was a perfect day, everything was just great!!!


Another and probably the main reason I haven't been here is because I'm in my final college year and I'd been piled up with loads of projects and whatnot. That's probably what most people hear from me when they ask how am I doing - It's all college! Exams are almost here, so you won't see me for another long and stressful month, but that's student life for you.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing good. Xmas is almost here, so that's is one of the things I'm looking forward to. What about you, guys?

Summer's Gone!!!

Hey guys!!
It's been long time since I was here, was too lazy to write anything. So here it goes...

Summer is almost gone and it was complete crap with few major exceptions so I'm not compelety sad :) June turned out to be very super eventful: 

• Being finished with College Placement 
• Something personal - which was great! 

And how can I forget last summer month which was filled with celebrations which only ended today??






Next week I'm back into my final year at college- sad and exciting!!! Honestly, I forgot how to hold a pen..... it's been almost a year since I've studied something!! And with my major June exceptions, it will be hard to keep my mind JUST on my studies. So many things to be done throughout the year, but I'm excited!!!

Sorry again,for not posting entries as I've promised..just a lot of things have been on for the past couple of weeks.
Also I keep thinking what can I write here so that people will start reading it..coz it seems that they only stumble onto it,and that's the end of the story.I've read other blogs before and many of you just write personal stuff-family,relationships and all that, no one seems to be interested in general things...hmm,maybe I should do a research or post a poll and see what you really want to read and find out about me?
Its's either that or just a comment under this post.

R.I.P. Simochka

Sad Bank Holiday for me,guys! Monday night my Guinea Pig Sima died. I have no idea what was wrong with her, but two days before she died she was very weak and didn't eat anything. She was just sitting in the corner of the cage and her mate Tima was beside her all the time. Every moment I'm not busy doing something, I remember the times she used to be with me - how she used to bite-tickle me all the time and everything. My other g.pig Tima is very lonely and quiet now. I can't even think of replacing her for another girl, she was just too good and unique... I miss her cute little face :(
