Felt Fox Tutorial<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello my dear followers!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Happy 2015, hope you had an amazing and safe festive season! It was our munchkin's first New Year and Christmas.</div>
Sorry for being absent for so many months- a lot has changed since my last post. Today I'm going to show you how to make this cute fox I've made the other day.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
I completely forgot to take a picture of my felt fabric choice but they were- bright orange, white and black. For décor I've decided to use a green bow and a button I've bought ages ago from <a href="http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-500-Pcs-Random-Mixed-Resin-Sewing-Buttons-Scrapbooking-9x2mm-Knopf-Bouton-W01363-X-1/876331643.html">Aliexpress</a> (this is the closest design I could find)as well as these half spheres which are handy for eyes or nose. From time to time I like to use different thread colour on a certain part of my craft. To see what I mean, keep scrolling :)<br />
First of all, prep your materials! You will need fabric glue, décor, a needle, colour threads, paper to draw your pattern, pins, stuffing of your choice (I've used cotton) and scissors.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoi6oS-sNFeH6FzF4dxqCfHc42o4A1nEyPTVlGxeO5sxzStjhJPe7ja4b7co-8MRcwNccB5BhlHcx7oK7L8EGG4EX-8H9hMS_WNSm-x8Wc194PnGuWEhyphenhypheniGke59iSQF294zBJhYug7_H9E/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoi6oS-sNFeH6FzF4dxqCfHc42o4A1nEyPTVlGxeO5sxzStjhJPe7ja4b7co-8MRcwNccB5BhlHcx7oK7L8EGG4EX-8H9hMS_WNSm-x8Wc194PnGuWEhyphenhypheniGke59iSQF294zBJhYug7_H9E/s1600/1.jpg" height="320" width="273" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cut out a preferred fox pattern, I've found mine on good ol' Google and roughly drawn where I want body parts to be. I've decided not to make the fringe, so it's not included on the end result.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwXEsGX6Pci3Vwh5dmY87vkNBOo4OCReue896HemVmmAsFYwERbH9WA1kzoJw4E2YtjcOik_gmq7rhdc7Stu0vx5B2FHkgv73U0zBvirPGLclQSPCJNjZ8erqARh2po5XBSx3tw6gEWkML/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwXEsGX6Pci3Vwh5dmY87vkNBOo4OCReue896HemVmmAsFYwERbH9WA1kzoJw4E2YtjcOik_gmq7rhdc7Stu0vx5B2FHkgv73U0zBvirPGLclQSPCJNjZ8erqARh2po5XBSx3tw6gEWkML/s1600/2.jpg" height="278" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here, I've cut out all body parts of my little fox, remember to cut out 2 body sides if you are not sewing the front to a pillow or something else. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-FzjLe58VmFpap8EOpYmo5t5uvMpfZFLkyTpRxQpPuMGvjf5lE3AUBwHIoOj8BJa_sJJ8GiAayBUoezwYYRbGKzMrsnVCrNjA4cxwYXAEtj3JctOUpyU7DFRNJwNjY77uHPcR516OhtlM/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-FzjLe58VmFpap8EOpYmo5t5uvMpfZFLkyTpRxQpPuMGvjf5lE3AUBwHIoOj8BJa_sJJ8GiAayBUoezwYYRbGKzMrsnVCrNjA4cxwYXAEtj3JctOUpyU7DFRNJwNjY77uHPcR516OhtlM/s1600/3.jpg" height="320" width="299" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next step is to sew everything onto the front of the fox's body, Don't worry about eyes or décor, you can glue that when you are fully finished. After you've done all the sewing, if you have any buttons to decorate the front, this it the time to do so. I've chosen a button that works well with the colour scheme and with the bow I'll be gluing on later.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizpQj6e-yYg1stQZea9C_UpATOLMrTEr6OUX8vTh3dx-ZO8BN8O5DtAB6zU_iyt1TQIjXJCYdP5KQ50WCRNidGgsqUwLjdNnAdb5gPmipZdaMWheqtvrXdbfNKB4CIAA2qxc9HViUmjXAi/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizpQj6e-yYg1stQZea9C_UpATOLMrTEr6OUX8vTh3dx-ZO8BN8O5DtAB6zU_iyt1TQIjXJCYdP5KQ50WCRNidGgsqUwLjdNnAdb5gPmipZdaMWheqtvrXdbfNKB4CIAA2qxc9HViUmjXAi/s1600/4.jpg" height="242" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now, sew both parts of our fox together, as you can see from a previous picture, for all the sewing of white parts, I've chosen to use orange thread. This is what I've talked about at the beginning of my post. So for sewing both sides, I chose white thread. I like this type of twist to a simple blanket stitch! Leave a little opening somewhere around the body to stuff your fox and then complete the blanket all around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmbp_JiJBTtzJjBA6IzLWX_dFko_oMQ6wIuH9VKQBE_M8ehaD42gJ_b97F_cZwxh_oRizHsJsPoiyB8oNSz96zfbjnsAxcQZZ-1NPPUr5yKk_PyATUYBS993FD2T4TojZoHoowgGbF_x1Y/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmbp_JiJBTtzJjBA6IzLWX_dFko_oMQ6wIuH9VKQBE_M8ehaD42gJ_b97F_cZwxh_oRizHsJsPoiyB8oNSz96zfbjnsAxcQZZ-1NPPUr5yKk_PyATUYBS993FD2T4TojZoHoowgGbF_x1Y/s1600/5.jpg" height="320" width="313" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last but not least, using a fabric glue of your choice, glue black ear parts, eyes, nose and a bow (if you have one) onto the front of the fox's body and you are done!</div>
<br />

<div>
Всем доброго времени суток! </div>
<div>
Сегодня я решила сделать запись на русском языке! Ура для русско-язычных подписчиков и зрителей моего блога! </div>
<div>
Итак, по просьбе мужа, сегодня днем сделала вот такого ужасного монстра как аксессуар для машины. По мне страшный он, но что поделаешь -заказ есть заказ!!</div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi5rBiljjlZLJirba50LPFt4p6hIMsGs4dyRbHJN4uXH4bc2q0-g0acpDJzD4GlbZRZNpFh3U57pTioCXcOZ1p05LKWzaGTSAa60p3sbsVIGvS8K8DFSns-4jioLwkJIciZXuUgeHZ9ela/s1600/QZYjnpXEALw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi5rBiljjlZLJirba50LPFt4p6hIMsGs4dyRbHJN4uXH4bc2q0-g0acpDJzD4GlbZRZNpFh3U57pTioCXcOZ1p05LKWzaGTSAa60p3sbsVIGvS8K8DFSns-4jioLwkJIciZXuUgeHZ9ela/s1600/QZYjnpXEALw.jpg" height="243" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSkh5HrobuEBpmrr9csCYWrP0NHtrDZpNfyLqgjY62NrxKOJ8AhhSARN-klG17QHFwGas6Ak59JnECwr9HzhT3SJ9o5NvlZkTRfIJI5vaP7GCudYyyWvnhvehybBWksyw316whVZjF9K0u/s1600/KIITWzOrq5A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSkh5HrobuEBpmrr9csCYWrP0NHtrDZpNfyLqgjY62NrxKOJ8AhhSARN-klG17QHFwGas6Ak59JnECwr9HzhT3SJ9o5NvlZkTRfIJI5vaP7GCudYyyWvnhvehybBWksyw316whVZjF9K0u/s1600/KIITWzOrq5A.jpg" height="243" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxPZUPErmhqOGbG0ukk9DrCJDUbxCS3-OWPis4UI9YKwdDS05q6QgkYAIjzk8zaaIZ9gy628qgcynw6EmwR1zOwvUxjJmq91EP07_Pz_eRvLlN9nY34SvYGtw5AAWXzNiumg0tL_gEfFAP/s1600/cvlbvsdbtmq.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxPZUPErmhqOGbG0ukk9DrCJDUbxCS3-OWPis4UI9YKwdDS05q6QgkYAIjzk8zaaIZ9gy628qgcynw6EmwR1zOwvUxjJmq91EP07_Pz_eRvLlN9nY34SvYGtw5AAWXzNiumg0tL_gEfFAP/s1600/cvlbvsdbtmq.png" height="320" width="244" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgzOE4GLYw6c6FTriGToVs_OTWEBXdl0OYkuRgwRqBIPQ1US2Fz7l5LExkpD8j7adWlKc5nHX2JZ-oVLjpXM0cj88VBsZh_hn21QImWb3ERhLgrYn9JRvcCW9EHN8rjeZZxdtMcBIGnIp_/s1600/iTpBh_GRGtM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgzOE4GLYw6c6FTriGToVs_OTWEBXdl0OYkuRgwRqBIPQ1US2Fz7l5LExkpD8j7adWlKc5nHX2JZ-oVLjpXM0cj88VBsZh_hn21QImWb3ERhLgrYn9JRvcCW9EHN8rjeZZxdtMcBIGnIp_/s1600/iTpBh_GRGtM.jpg" height="320" width="244" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwfMgzHnkoiISLknvgTO2V-5ENVZ7t12FnQYAVs1l7zLCkg2WGJjdn6LsFDnKi17_II-yySCQzsfUcgtZ1PoUk041c91pS4yq7JtmLfB88lROCNM2TSNpod3aWq1WS32wdB3xNmx9jVo-j/s1600/FfulZE7s_Xw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwfMgzHnkoiISLknvgTO2V-5ENVZ7t12FnQYAVs1l7zLCkg2WGJjdn6LsFDnKi17_II-yySCQzsfUcgtZ1PoUk041c91pS4yq7JtmLfB88lROCNM2TSNpod3aWq1WS32wdB3xNmx9jVo-j/s1600/FfulZE7s_Xw.jpg" height="320" width="244" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Перед тем как сшивать 2 части тела вместе, обметочным швом пришиваем рот монстра. Далее, тем же швом сшиваем 2 части тела, параллельно набивая его ватой. На этой стадии наш монстр почти готов.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Используя клей для материала, приклейте монстру зубы и глаза, а так же не забудьте вдеть веревочку через шов головы монстра.</div>

Here is another felt craft with a baby name. This one is made for a baby girl, last year I did a baby name cloud with droplets and if you want to recreate it, go read it <a href="http://feltbasket.blogspot.ie/2013/10/baby-name-cloud-with-droplets-tutorial.html">here</a>. This tutorial requires a bit more time as it has more details to it, but it is totally worth it at the end.<br />
<br />
First you need to grab all your essential materials such as fabric glue, felt fabric, paper, scissors, needle, pins, decor if preferred, threads and of course your imagination :) Here are the colours I have chosen for my crafty work.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGZkGI1lIHRdrkh5XaJ_ty7Jgi9vwHWiLSUmbWFWbX8IVzrBItvILyn-vhH24g524okKbWeWAD6FpwaLF6wSWGL21CMr54IeG5kXHFm310-2urYFR64v5W_YfP7oz7W0E-mTC5HROndvoW/s1600/20140529_181913.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGZkGI1lIHRdrkh5XaJ_ty7Jgi9vwHWiLSUmbWFWbX8IVzrBItvILyn-vhH24g524okKbWeWAD6FpwaLF6wSWGL21CMr54IeG5kXHFm310-2urYFR64v5W_YfP7oz7W0E-mTC5HROndvoW/s1600/20140529_181913.jpg" height="195" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
Before sewing, draw and cut out your little birdies (I did 3 birds total but used one paper pattern), all letters: <b>NOTE: </b>to save time and material, do not duplicate letters if a name has any. Last but not least, cut out branch leaves and a branch itself.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkylv0PXShWCBp7M0NZeKGnjCh3Hx8aiYIN-ObKpyWmpdIoacNCVInz14fPfGhdjVMrkdcznZbp1DGIcWc4alPqujDl_iS8nnH4NIp9spjE0-6Ih2usnVsk6dzSXlg1Y3EpTOucoa557R6/s1600/20140529_175136.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><span style="color: white;"> </span><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkylv0PXShWCBp7M0NZeKGnjCh3Hx8aiYIN-ObKpyWmpdIoacNCVInz14fPfGhdjVMrkdcznZbp1DGIcWc4alPqujDl_iS8nnH4NIp9spjE0-6Ih2usnVsk6dzSXlg1Y3EpTOucoa557R6/s1600/20140529_175136.jpg" height="320" width="227" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-6lyJ_eCOtN6WS1KeFqinH5FyOx-_DBtkvKt_fg_OY6fir9LXHA7R5hexOTjXsRr56USYa35AYB3q4BizZVRhhvnunjETP8XurZNc_EZUn_oZUhkbjkL_Y0FpqOGC3NqQkW9veyL23w9q/s1600/20140530_130652.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-6lyJ_eCOtN6WS1KeFqinH5FyOx-_DBtkvKt_fg_OY6fir9LXHA7R5hexOTjXsRr56USYa35AYB3q4BizZVRhhvnunjETP8XurZNc_EZUn_oZUhkbjkL_Y0FpqOGC3NqQkW9veyL23w9q/s1600/20140530_130652.jpg" height="167" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Next step is to cut out these shapes from your felt fabric. I have decided to make 2 sided birdies so every detail was duplicated, apart from eyes and beak. At this point I like to lay out all the details at its place to have a better idea of where to glue or sew them on.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfiQ83XF_cSxsz1If2eZbR12SUpcxtqAL9jDnPwX_SSLeC62qrRbyq87KYCkpeo8bzcTiV-gJWMQjAMKvhhiNvnw8f0WEVfvc2FKBTYTfcyzUl2kIGRu-nyFVlyzKQ9KEVhbAWlNR4BG_P/s1600/20140529_221536.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfiQ83XF_cSxsz1If2eZbR12SUpcxtqAL9jDnPwX_SSLeC62qrRbyq87KYCkpeo8bzcTiV-gJWMQjAMKvhhiNvnw8f0WEVfvc2FKBTYTfcyzUl2kIGRu-nyFVlyzKQ9KEVhbAWlNR4BG_P/s1600/20140529_221536.jpg" height="298" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Finally on with the sewing, before you sew 2 sides together, sew the front, in my case using a regular stitch I had placed a decor button at the side of birdie's belly. After that's taken care off, using a blanket stitch sew both sides together. Before you finish, stuff your birdie with your favourite filler and sew it up to the end.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7ao-e8IHbJUDieYilkZcTp558gOr3b1CI0zQnmWC1AoFpTkIRqHGwwMIEvs48s8lbEqGARZJ0CMqd1SZdxfgoXOz2pQEu3NJEIfJo-whIpnjnDoA0S9GYToQbNKpYtZoiz380L-y4nxMB/s1600/20140529_230948.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7ao-e8IHbJUDieYilkZcTp558gOr3b1CI0zQnmWC1AoFpTkIRqHGwwMIEvs48s8lbEqGARZJ0CMqd1SZdxfgoXOz2pQEu3NJEIfJo-whIpnjnDoA0S9GYToQbNKpYtZoiz380L-y4nxMB/s1600/20140529_230948.jpg" height="320" width="243" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When you are finished with sewing, use a fabric glue to glue on the eyes and the beak onto its place. For the black eye part, you can either cut out 2 black circles out of felt or use plastic half spheres if you have them- which is what I did and you are done with your birdie.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJwAYsrVsIZjsUzIOz8XfOkpODNe25N0dzQLZsOK15XYi-RADbioohiua6jpfEytgw4uHpInGPgzoKVJzRuweq5USEJMgv449Xy0gkuw-wV0CSsj3jf7xpZpOkwcUjoiKyEsxGmtm9ELfS/s1600/20140529_233129.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJwAYsrVsIZjsUzIOz8XfOkpODNe25N0dzQLZsOK15XYi-RADbioohiua6jpfEytgw4uHpInGPgzoKVJzRuweq5USEJMgv449Xy0gkuw-wV0CSsj3jf7xpZpOkwcUjoiKyEsxGmtm9ELfS/s1600/20140529_233129.jpg" height="320" width="243" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The same technique applies to the branch, cut out two identical sides of the branch from your felt fabric and using a blanket stitch, stitch the sides together parallel to stuffing it with cotton. When you are done, do the same with leaves, but before stitching both sides together, use a regular stitch to create leaf veins in the middle.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjak5RZi2YFKYhF5Xmyqxg0NmvutyBIiVtKKDHQohzHa7u_5uLdrE3ncmFSxrNmtvV0tNDyBKJgXaWi7ESMo-9T39DiXl8YicsfStrwYBFHglSHtGk2pMRt-Wgw2D-nxV8uJVBukPvARnx4/s1600/SiZYvpf5Q54.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjak5RZi2YFKYhF5Xmyqxg0NmvutyBIiVtKKDHQohzHa7u_5uLdrE3ncmFSxrNmtvV0tNDyBKJgXaWi7ESMo-9T39DiXl8YicsfStrwYBFHglSHtGk2pMRt-Wgw2D-nxV8uJVBukPvARnx4/s1600/SiZYvpf5Q54.jpg" height="320" width="245" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The last sewing step is to stitch name letters together. I've made a duplicate of each letter and to make my work more colourful, I'd used 2 colours of felt. This step might seem difficult, but actually it was the easiest one. To make all letters more stable when you sew them onto the branch, use easy-bend wire and bend it to the shape of each letter- it doesn't have to be perfect. Once you are done with that, put it in between the 2 sides of felt letters and with a blanket stitch sew both sides together. With the wire in the middle, the letter won't fall back when hung. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5XmK2YnlfP2tfmkVdt-L5OHyCJwvZXLg90keoR23eklrhcMC_sP07LYfJdMLSQQrGHdUErHcf4YX0qBb-EvTytckD5uLL7v6mk0zcUOwYsO0XZGWU1A7jXtXdHrbKUimP8MnyFCCFpArY/s1600/TKiSCWx2KYw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5XmK2YnlfP2tfmkVdt-L5OHyCJwvZXLg90keoR23eklrhcMC_sP07LYfJdMLSQQrGHdUErHcf4YX0qBb-EvTytckD5uLL7v6mk0zcUOwYsO0XZGWU1A7jXtXdHrbKUimP8MnyFCCFpArY/s1600/TKiSCWx2KYw.jpg" height="320" width="249" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At this stage all your pieces are ready to be put together. Here, you can sew them onto the branch the way you prefer, just make sure the stitches are invisible from all sides when you sew birds, leaves and letters to the branch. To make it easy and neat, you can use fabric glue to do that or in my case I had used a tiny amount of super glue for all letters and leaves ( leave to dry for couple of hours), just because they are small and very close together. To hang your craft, use a ribbon or a twisted rope and sew it/glue it to the back of the branch and you are finished.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

First of all you will need to decide the colours of your felt fabric and threads you will use to sew this pinguin. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of my materials this time, but as usual you will need a filler of your preference, a needle, scissors, paper, fabric glue and accessories if wanted.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggxoonBfsLFqdxzHv5_y55f4e7cr-w0XxKek1Itx49VAeR84Y2eLWXcSMZOSwgGeEFX86MOzCf-7-3EkhYIRp9EVqBHUBHA0asWff_MSaWIJRz_dVG6Z-mo1cqiyDb-T_UUB1i6sVwN2Sc/s1600/1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggxoonBfsLFqdxzHv5_y55f4e7cr-w0XxKek1Itx49VAeR84Y2eLWXcSMZOSwgGeEFX86MOzCf-7-3EkhYIRp9EVqBHUBHA0asWff_MSaWIJRz_dVG6Z-mo1cqiyDb-T_UUB1i6sVwN2Sc/s1600/1.png" height="320" width="274" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
I went for the original black and white body fabric and added some colour to accessories such as a hat and a scarf. Next step is to cut out the shape of a pinguin including the white part of the body as seen on the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghS9CBhogQ7TC7YL45tb5bzE6ELhfuzWC0BZDcmvUFEOhRjjgS31fhAO-jEOMGfPKPHnn3Vr2qQzFLyfx50AN9v8Tudzaa9CrPe2o8lrCAkn5DQ-BZcu7Gmzyyag12Yt_Ggx4g-RMnUWA7/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghS9CBhogQ7TC7YL45tb5bzE6ELhfuzWC0BZDcmvUFEOhRjjgS31fhAO-jEOMGfPKPHnn3Vr2qQzFLyfx50AN9v8Tudzaa9CrPe2o8lrCAkn5DQ-BZcu7Gmzyyag12Yt_Ggx4g-RMnUWA7/s1600/2.png" height="320" width="289" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Here are the parts of the pinguin excluding the eyes. As you can see I had started sewing the white to the black using my favourite blanket stitch. I'm really not a fan of using a sewing machine for my creations.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAtI7VfR9x8jnceAJOZ1ydjBBGy1cQe5lRFYH6kQj_dFk78BdyV68WY81XaEwuw1jJ7pJoduPs4kv5qqUI18lIkzZ0fMuRgKp_Tu0H11q1E_-h0AiosBO4QwMBAV0Qcgu2xkfEcMfhrIA3/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAtI7VfR9x8jnceAJOZ1ydjBBGy1cQe5lRFYH6kQj_dFk78BdyV68WY81XaEwuw1jJ7pJoduPs4kv5qqUI18lIkzZ0fMuRgKp_Tu0H11q1E_-h0AiosBO4QwMBAV0Qcgu2xkfEcMfhrIA3/s1600/3.png" height="255" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After you finish stitching the white of the body, you can now start working on the scarf, I did a little twist with it by cutting the bottom into several different lenght tassels.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP666hRmhwqcGbxWjII7OK9zCRw9AsUIREDgpw_4NtkW7l_f7QLTtxPLZm-R6uIjVNmeORkBGCioEzus1E2aFE3gUys4Sh1u77IiL2clQDGxyHhTP-OfGFCBaeFWp_gEPzZiP0mY-kTX0C/s1600/4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP666hRmhwqcGbxWjII7OK9zCRw9AsUIREDgpw_4NtkW7l_f7QLTtxPLZm-R6uIjVNmeORkBGCioEzus1E2aFE3gUys4Sh1u77IiL2clQDGxyHhTP-OfGFCBaeFWp_gEPzZiP0mY-kTX0C/s1600/4.png" height="255" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On the left is a final step you have to do before sewing both body sides together. This step is optional, but I wanted it to be "Christmassy" so I sewed on a red hat and a white band on top of it. If you don't want that, then you had to end the top of the head just below the white hat band.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The right side of the above collage is where I had stitched both sides together and stuffed it with cotton before finishing stitching all around. Here, your pinguin is almost complete.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7bZ-sAWCO2Z0a6NX4_DehVScNYi0bP1Xv7YgNq2mdGIoBIqQptdT5uJvY7MjR0cWSPNOkvbIT6cdToLLz7modIbvv-x8S8yDXOije1ZYdIFy-NgGx6Opbys6xGMcxwFFhusOUEEqlVuxR/s1600/5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7bZ-sAWCO2Z0a6NX4_DehVScNYi0bP1Xv7YgNq2mdGIoBIqQptdT5uJvY7MjR0cWSPNOkvbIT6cdToLLz7modIbvv-x8S8yDXOije1ZYdIFy-NgGx6Opbys6xGMcxwFFhusOUEEqlVuxR/s1600/5.png" height="320" width="255" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Using fabric glue of your choice glue on the eyes, you can cut them out of felt fabric or just buy and glue on "half sphere" shapes which is what I did. Also don't forget to glue on the beak and sew the pom pom to the top of the hat and you are done:)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hope you liked this tutorial, sorry for it being so late but I didn't want it to leave it until next Christmas.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Until next time :)</div>

Всем привет!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Сегодня я покажу вам как делать Плохую Хрюшу из Angry Birds.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU3RycBZBBdT24TZ-1IX7H_SbwqgCaXTKefybf1HRLMMTN2P8vVn8kCSP8KHWZKHKWlxzTEC8_LYoNbX_3xRh6ikLXekjmSJ-1MA0OHIeENGP57QOeGm9r0SGjBaGFCxgOWrWDykFz6qm6/s1600/Fotor110110322.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU3RycBZBBdT24TZ-1IX7H_SbwqgCaXTKefybf1HRLMMTN2P8vVn8kCSP8KHWZKHKWlxzTEC8_LYoNbX_3xRh6ikLXekjmSJ-1MA0OHIeENGP57QOeGm9r0SGjBaGFCxgOWrWDykFz6qm6/s320/Fotor110110322.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Первым делом вырезаем выкройку. Так как изначально у меня была только картинка с Интернета, я ее нарисовала, а потом вырезала. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLq4wzn4vlzo_RYdvmInE1xrt89rCkjbX77fkN6eioufN3bf7ZtFAddohIMfZQ-caFWosLhANvNvFFI_-zhHrRNXx5SB6KVA0LQc3m3chfAuO-nwWAGzMViBpjKyVu0puqhl_FCaqnLYcz/s1600/Fotor01031202117.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLq4wzn4vlzo_RYdvmInE1xrt89rCkjbX77fkN6eioufN3bf7ZtFAddohIMfZQ-caFWosLhANvNvFFI_-zhHrRNXx5SB6KVA0LQc3m3chfAuO-nwWAGzMViBpjKyVu0puqhl_FCaqnLYcz/s320/Fotor01031202117.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg43BKnYHhOnLK8M1qTtrOYaz_su_hV4-a3DhOkx0ME7BkxbQsJx6QswPvjPJcaYxzjvd4vfhE2XZ-pvgrd_4UyOxQPbGUpeID8BZxpzyrGNMEC4opYZjCdGwkAhdOVEp5uVtsb63mcOxep/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg43BKnYHhOnLK8M1qTtrOYaz_su_hV4-a3DhOkx0ME7BkxbQsJx6QswPvjPJcaYxzjvd4vfhE2XZ-pvgrd_4UyOxQPbGUpeID8BZxpzyrGNMEC4opYZjCdGwkAhdOVEp5uVtsb63mcOxep/s320/2.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4eeeZdeh0yr_fjR_hIhuZwimNBVhZ4xIUa-DMPBfCXccUZ5kIEVBG6yFyEZOsH-FVOBoqwOzWi0nHMrpPEzEGNXLNata8vP4qc8UoTsg2WhXyytsZU2LAfaPYfjjBY6iK2_Ldtih76p2m/s1600/Fotor110113126.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4eeeZdeh0yr_fjR_hIhuZwimNBVhZ4xIUa-DMPBfCXccUZ5kIEVBG6yFyEZOsH-FVOBoqwOzWi0nHMrpPEzEGNXLNata8vP4qc8UoTsg2WhXyytsZU2LAfaPYfjjBY6iK2_Ldtih76p2m/s320/Fotor110113126.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLE4DykQzqA0Ejguhv86YTq5RIxwyPiuY70waaczWCo2UPIo0h26JNQt-ndgHa_VOh-QWHJm0uIVqfZMw6L6prNrwLbj9otUuIJsHrjm4PmNsb_Mc9k0jsy_Xd7YYKqJLtkMRH5QRr1fOG/s1600/Fotor01031210620.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLE4DykQzqA0Ejguhv86YTq5RIxwyPiuY70waaczWCo2UPIo0h26JNQt-ndgHa_VOh-QWHJm0uIVqfZMw6L6prNrwLbj9otUuIJsHrjm4PmNsb_Mc9k0jsy_Xd7YYKqJLtkMRH5QRr1fOG/s320/Fotor01031210620.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Теперь, сшиваем обе стороны хрюши обмёточным швом захватывая обратную сторону бантика.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6jOgF2do-AKd9bjpxkEZEfruVIXXq1f9VkPMKPfQZZjf4YnFQeSZHUF6cSGOiY7JlbtDf5SkmKfe-6RSv2PrarC6LbtwrwgL9u6S5HCHI7cPg70zObVnLtLEXnMGpvo8wFJVa-qKdvRrl/s1600/20131024_023456.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6jOgF2do-AKd9bjpxkEZEfruVIXXq1f9VkPMKPfQZZjf4YnFQeSZHUF6cSGOiY7JlbtDf5SkmKfe-6RSv2PrarC6LbtwrwgL9u6S5HCHI7cPg70zObVnLtLEXnMGpvo8wFJVa-qKdvRrl/s320/20131024_023456.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Когда ваша хрюшка полностью сшита, используя клей для ткани, наклеиваем все мелкие детали на нужное место - ноздри, глаза и щечки. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK_ryDe_SQCPKev7WqbPSCMeWUzno5afo1kdAKX6vv9G2smF5J0eRCBvbdlfP5WBG1BxmenGrejHkC0pot6FYHGdO3teRNbDpPv_i_DDZR9u5U2P_uozfYRaWmH9HIiL6utI_Jd71OFG1U/s1600/20131024_032944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK_ryDe_SQCPKev7WqbPSCMeWUzno5afo1kdAKX6vv9G2smF5J0eRCBvbdlfP5WBG1BxmenGrejHkC0pot6FYHGdO3teRNbDpPv_i_DDZR9u5U2P_uozfYRaWmH9HIiL6utI_Jd71OFG1U/s320/20131024_032944.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Далее, пришиваем прочную верёвку на середину бантика и чтоб не было видно кончиков, пришиваем любой декор, в этом случае я выбрала ярко- жёлтую пуговицу.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello my dear viewers! I'm feeling extremely creative this week, so here is another felt tutorial for you. Today, I'm going to show you how to create this cute Baby Name Cloud with hanging droplets. This cloud is made for my little nephew who will be here soon, so I had decided to create something cute for his nursery. The name on the cloud is in Russian, but of course you can write in whichever language or style you prefer.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For this tutorial you will need fabric glue, different colour threads and felt material, pins, needle, cotton and a pair of sharp/good quality scissors. The reason for good quality scissors is to easily cut out neat felt shapes as felt can be very fluffy and hard to manage. Last but not least use your imagination, I also used different size/colour buttons and a felt maple leaf for decor. If you want to know where I got it all, I will be posting a separate blog post.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Draw and cut out paper shapes of a cloud, baby name letters and droplets. I use ordinary A4 paper, you can use cardboard paper for this too to make your patterns more durable if you want to make any of the crafts in the future.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cut out felt shapes of all your paper patterns.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuHh61hsNu5ZZ_IYOPNBLF-IFmojoDTBfFhK0uCRAzKPAsirom7w3n7p0TzCdoaM0rZlIIYhl1rNVIR-N6e9pyiMlyJpXLkb0bo_2nu84eo7-caU1WBjF0K3gLH11huzyX2F7n7Z0N6-mm/s1600/imageedit_5_8539842911.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="285" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuHh61hsNu5ZZ_IYOPNBLF-IFmojoDTBfFhK0uCRAzKPAsirom7w3n7p0TzCdoaM0rZlIIYhl1rNVIR-N6e9pyiMlyJpXLkb0bo_2nu84eo7-caU1WBjF0K3gLH11huzyX2F7n7Z0N6-mm/s320/imageedit_5_8539842911.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using a blanket stitch, stitch name letters onto the front side of your cloud. I recommend you to put all decor including letters onto the cloud in a position you want and take a picture of it, therefore when you stitch everything onto the cloud, you will know where to put all pieces so it won't look crooked or too close to the edge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After you did all the decorating, start stitching both sides of the cloud together, but leave some space at the bottom so we can fill it later.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5pjjIOlZ_rprzeUSm8-8tgfU9S7EUTnYLUiQYngXsFR5kJXGn2ep29yExeVMPi1z-mUw_fGg9u88niQuUi6wej_VTkGbGqxaw5voqg8Qhi2CUVXrxA9reWdFLxp3bIj1efpoDWoGxBvb8/s1600/20131016_170411.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5pjjIOlZ_rprzeUSm8-8tgfU9S7EUTnYLUiQYngXsFR5kJXGn2ep29yExeVMPi1z-mUw_fGg9u88niQuUi6wej_VTkGbGqxaw5voqg8Qhi2CUVXrxA9reWdFLxp3bIj1efpoDWoGxBvb8/s320/20131016_170411.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When you get to the bottom part of your cloud, fill it with cotton or any preferred filler material. Make sure to fill in every nook and cranny of your cloud. When you are done, sew it up the rest of the way.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq5qUuCw3xj4Jci1OEvNez-BBmkqUt75_oa1KP-HhpmAhzTbF9vHiPyhv7E4aB6lXs4kupClUMshivXhhYeXviqIXfa3EYfJpXMpLZozdOJ6cPIlH-uUW2MDn9lhiouZ_hYLv1FNL_YQm6/s1600/20131016_183013.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq5qUuCw3xj4Jci1OEvNez-BBmkqUt75_oa1KP-HhpmAhzTbF9vHiPyhv7E4aB6lXs4kupClUMshivXhhYeXviqIXfa3EYfJpXMpLZozdOJ6cPIlH-uUW2MDn9lhiouZ_hYLv1FNL_YQm6/s320/20131016_183013.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now that you are finished stitching the cloud, last step to decor is to glue a felt maple leaf into the corner of the cloud. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7sc6hRUFIbDIfuiW1WQe_OTRvJheIGbs95lppQFUAYhZk0fA7Sga1TS0WzR9gOysoXsrKjiTROO6i8TmQSWct4kJw7EG8Tgnmskwq0KmpxgzwXZWh7_GUSwwC-5QksVV0dmJS2qIUbMPf/s1600/20131016_190901.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7sc6hRUFIbDIfuiW1WQe_OTRvJheIGbs95lppQFUAYhZk0fA7Sga1TS0WzR9gOysoXsrKjiTROO6i8TmQSWct4kJw7EG8Tgnmskwq0KmpxgzwXZWh7_GUSwwC-5QksVV0dmJS2qIUbMPf/s320/20131016_190901.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Final step to this tutorial is to stitch up all droplets, I used non matching shades of blue threads for each droplet for some contrast.</div>

Today I'm going to to show you how to create an Angry Bird out of felt. In my case, I had created it as an accessory for my husband's car.<br />
For this tutorial, you will need: felt fabric colours of an Angry Bird. You also require fabric glue, scissors, threads, paper to cut out patterns, cotton, few sewing pins and a needle.<br />
First thing you want to do is to find an Angry Bird with an emotion you like, I found mine on Internet.<br />
Once you have decided, draw and cut out all shapes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEAZfcbwLLjUft2QeVsuyKuPX-EW2OXoOptuNr3dTRAgceGIGzm5x__Tva_ZnzVmZ_tAoCylRQFPWTLj33dx2eOYwQOneKWKCdMr6bXHWQIRL_BdulLT-P9J59WrTwwSC85mvYby6cSkQa/s1600/20131017_183452.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEAZfcbwLLjUft2QeVsuyKuPX-EW2OXoOptuNr3dTRAgceGIGzm5x__Tva_ZnzVmZ_tAoCylRQFPWTLj33dx2eOYwQOneKWKCdMr6bXHWQIRL_BdulLT-P9J59WrTwwSC85mvYby6cSkQa/s320/20131017_183452.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have cut out the body (out of felt) prior to cutting out all the little parts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6baxEOnbx1b5mTtu8vWlxMks3RLanjfmswrtSBcgEjamOndI0CntIuEtWk0n23UR17q23vu6kTwUbtRB-mfZR-4dYR4grAyaOaCm9rYmhEUDLf8Hm0jl37WhaR2gPFwTyTpULP-azCEng/s1600/20131017_193948.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6baxEOnbx1b5mTtu8vWlxMks3RLanjfmswrtSBcgEjamOndI0CntIuEtWk0n23UR17q23vu6kTwUbtRB-mfZR-4dYR4grAyaOaCm9rYmhEUDLf8Hm0jl37WhaR2gPFwTyTpULP-azCEng/s320/20131017_193948.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This bird is very delicate in terms of details, so I only used sewing pins for big parts, otherwise small details will rip apart from a pin and I just think they are not convenient at all for this kind of work.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Neatly cut out felt shapes and don't forget the tail like I did. Some Angry Birds pictures don't show a tail, but it definitely has one.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLenowypDCkF6dqnPWTXe2T2eWqrwouVwJ_ZzCLydUV1tlxgluGjKVZETSPr1CD3a8OPprTKpzuFEAG_vNSZjpuIXsuyp1WRcGIIQvAqiX6QrB9JSh2WsG3RFMpCCG5KfUO04kjh-1KXi/s1600/20131017_194256.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLenowypDCkF6dqnPWTXe2T2eWqrwouVwJ_ZzCLydUV1tlxgluGjKVZETSPr1CD3a8OPprTKpzuFEAG_vNSZjpuIXsuyp1WRcGIIQvAqiX6QrB9JSh2WsG3RFMpCCG5KfUO04kjh-1KXi/s320/20131017_194256.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First step with these kind of crafts, is always start and finish all front pieces before sewing 2 body sides together. Start stitching white chest part only at the sides, leave top and bottom part untouched.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcdPzgEDhhcfJwmhYs91zmkWhipYdmM3bRb_TQXtEAYT1ZcPOxUSNE3FIFhYMjQfha_5fCFvRfdz6xR3Wjl7uCpwXxKBlUmMClLJ3Qt8pJdlQdhS72tiYSM2wQKpj-LmCUg7deE2EoW_MB/s1600/imageedit_3_6153650816.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcdPzgEDhhcfJwmhYs91zmkWhipYdmM3bRb_TQXtEAYT1ZcPOxUSNE3FIFhYMjQfha_5fCFvRfdz6xR3Wjl7uCpwXxKBlUmMClLJ3Qt8pJdlQdhS72tiYSM2wQKpj-LmCUg7deE2EoW_MB/s320/imageedit_3_6153650816.jpg" height="320" width="312" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sew beak lines with 2 regular long stitches in triangle like shape and start stitching it to the body with blanket stitch taking in little bit of white chest part to secure them together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9-P7aD1Ly9SxJZNZyow3Af48sZSVEbRjrrMwajB5rg7y0P_Tq28sS1o-CJnVPOLLQZ30E-aGLgcKRiDHhrNd3p9Z2ayKbBqXuPUon_x_auPVZbo4TXb4jUAu26rCrXFB7C3Wo4HMXr3Ol/s1600/Fotor0101803955.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9-P7aD1Ly9SxJZNZyow3Af48sZSVEbRjrrMwajB5rg7y0P_Tq28sS1o-CJnVPOLLQZ30E-aGLgcKRiDHhrNd3p9Z2ayKbBqXuPUon_x_auPVZbo4TXb4jUAu26rCrXFB7C3Wo4HMXr3Ol/s320/Fotor0101803955.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next step is to stitch white part of the eyes above the beak, when stitching with blanket stitch, make sure to take in a little bit of beak's top part for neat finish with no spaces between both parts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZquuINBVwR7G_QtYha6qtHWMxLpbxL6bUSBE-ZWwSx02eAxxR-zqkSp8w-gn52SkiMqQN9iEBQaz5WdLinYBNuL3WclAHvZydyqAja0CcWZ3PSR_N5OaInMFPM6vAavp7188roDcP-Ulu/s1600/Fotor0101803819.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZquuINBVwR7G_QtYha6qtHWMxLpbxL6bUSBE-ZWwSx02eAxxR-zqkSp8w-gn52SkiMqQN9iEBQaz5WdLinYBNuL3WclAHvZydyqAja0CcWZ3PSR_N5OaInMFPM6vAavp7188roDcP-Ulu/s320/Fotor0101803819.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using the same method as previous, with a blanket stitch, stitch Angry Bird's eyebrows above the eyes as close to each other as possible while taking in the top of the eyes with the stitch. Also after you are finished with eyebrows, use a regular stitch to create a thick vertical black line in the middle of the eyes to separate them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUB8d3mc7qdEgdxKsjmijXphX7iiPPci0aE95yZpYHbLmHyNWTPXwIVvqWKPV7ZBdjOTaOGXVp7WZXNgZZ9Eqhi9tvkH-gs0YSmqnrywsckyNOUceIpBtF9e9Z_-SqEvVQ_q95KprINt_4/s1600/Fotor010180568.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUB8d3mc7qdEgdxKsjmijXphX7iiPPci0aE95yZpYHbLmHyNWTPXwIVvqWKPV7ZBdjOTaOGXVp7WZXNgZZ9Eqhi9tvkH-gs0YSmqnrywsckyNOUceIpBtF9e9Z_-SqEvVQ_q95KprINt_4/s320/Fotor010180568.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Start stitching both sides of the bird, when you come to the part where its tail is suppose to be, put it in between 2 sides and secure it with regular stitch, stuff the bird with cotton or a filler of your preference. Stitch to the top of its head and separate its fluff with one long regular stitch and return back to blanket stitch to the very top of the fluff. Use any kind of thread/elastic to loop it though one of the stitches and finish the rest of the body.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2rHJJeJLACJ4q8WBzG_jAyL3AjQOEfYHM8pw4sW39X6KBM8dJCGlTc42rUn-PkyYJYT9DmMKW2IxxB9ctvFAGCnot7hdh5KmabPpGCGKz_u6zABaDppUdyo7MgtEV5Q4PA7AwUGrRC8ij/s1600/Fotor0101811611.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2rHJJeJLACJ4q8WBzG_jAyL3AjQOEfYHM8pw4sW39X6KBM8dJCGlTc42rUn-PkyYJYT9DmMKW2IxxB9ctvFAGCnot7hdh5KmabPpGCGKz_u6zABaDppUdyo7MgtEV5Q4PA7AwUGrRC8ij/s320/Fotor0101811611.jpg" height="146" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Last step is to glue on the black of the eyes into place and burgundy colour circles which I believe is where the shade suppose to be.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope you enjoyed another tutorial from me, leave me your thoughts on it in the comment section below and I will see you soon.</div>

So recently I have received decor and fabric items I had ordered from Ebay and Aliexpress. First of all, I didn't have a lot of stuff to begin with, so I had to work with what I have found from my Home Economics class back in school.<br />
These are the items I had decided to buy so I could start creating things with more colour and creativity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUBdjpfRy8njjzRNTG9-WlFlyCGrBBomW5iXBYL877l-k9H_x9UtHIDuMd-bfp0jV379HElGIGy_JfX5DxCMyfB0KqO5N9yxF8VJnVZpzarU_OAKZbusXwwfPLURQJFQtVI70vT8b6Leih/s1600/20131015_131629.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUBdjpfRy8njjzRNTG9-WlFlyCGrBBomW5iXBYL877l-k9H_x9UtHIDuMd-bfp0jV379HElGIGy_JfX5DxCMyfB0KqO5N9yxF8VJnVZpzarU_OAKZbusXwwfPLURQJFQtVI70vT8b6Leih/s320/20131015_131629.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
I got 42 felt pieces 30cm x 20cm at Aliexpress. This felt fabric is pressed, almost like a sheet of paper which is good for cutting, but if you want to make soft to touch toys or other decorations, this is not suitable.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrzgsaZO4ERV8MZ4_YtK4cMYGrWriqIW1XWbfp57QBmMXBzP_yyjPQs8RkNHcwVW5QBUeLzFCxU5D10US59bDMcAD_BXDYFeF1uaTKfxklgt2LmCRx-6Rib52lMhQhOrSNHrbaJWpdQo54/s1600/imageedit_1_3307255178.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="236" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrzgsaZO4ERV8MZ4_YtK4cMYGrWriqIW1XWbfp57QBmMXBzP_yyjPQs8RkNHcwVW5QBUeLzFCxU5D10US59bDMcAD_BXDYFeF1uaTKfxklgt2LmCRx-6Rib52lMhQhOrSNHrbaJWpdQo54/s320/imageedit_1_3307255178.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
1. A small pack of colourful bows<br />
2. Wooden button shapes- apples, Disney characters, animals, cars etc.<br />
3. Plastic buttons- different colours, shapes and sizes. These can create amazing works.<br />
4. Half buttons (200 pcs)- these can be used for eyes/nose or just decor on your felt toys or other creations. I haven't tried these yet, but will let you know in my upcoming tutorials.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Last but not least, my dear sister picked up these maple and oak leaves from our local fabric store, which I really like, and hope to get some more crafty bits there:)<br />
That is all my lovely viewers, I just thought I'd let you know where I got all my decor, as it will appear in my future posts:)<br />

Hi everyone. I hope you liked my first tutorial, if you haven't seen it yet, go check it out <a href="http://feltbasket.blogspot.ie/2013/08/first-felt-creation-owl-tutorial.html">here</a> . This is my second tutorial I happened to create straight after an owl as I really liked doing it and went ahead and tried something a bit more complicated.<br />
To create these love birds, again you can choose whichever colour felt or threads you like. You also need fabric glue, scissors, paper to cut out patterns,sewing pins. This craft requires a lot of different colour fabric, unless you want to keep it simple.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpVNo7DhIQpwPrz9ySkrYgmWLjyLSp1iYtHaogqblsQKNnx8At6dZ1rkALnqijBHv5GTvRXb0YdX5EDJqH2NpyehXugp_OiuXnoq82Su4iXpqSB_U02jUmRCgrj3kfoWbXHsiFheF3vFwU/s1600/20130829_195008.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpVNo7DhIQpwPrz9ySkrYgmWLjyLSp1iYtHaogqblsQKNnx8At6dZ1rkALnqijBHv5GTvRXb0YdX5EDJqH2NpyehXugp_OiuXnoq82Su4iXpqSB_U02jUmRCgrj3kfoWbXHsiFheF3vFwU/s320/20130829_195008.jpg" height="238" width="320" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyR4AKvMoAtM2Ze2Vx0yr-FntTsYMjarhD1sslXWGdk6C8OiEQ6bfmDJSIxV1XofTminIj7AKFHeIFnh2QzSmmLlPnnhxo6rR0Jw5O8PJv-zTkH43UHddE9w8CP0R6IehJ0TXtkZUkf3gj/s1600/20130829_195925.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyR4AKvMoAtM2Ze2Vx0yr-FntTsYMjarhD1sslXWGdk6C8OiEQ6bfmDJSIxV1XofTminIj7AKFHeIFnh2QzSmmLlPnnhxo6rR0Jw5O8PJv-zTkH43UHddE9w8CP0R6IehJ0TXtkZUkf3gj/s320/20130829_195925.jpg" height="165" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Draw and cut out 2 different size birds.
This part is optional, but I made 2 lovebirds, you can create as many as you like :)
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyeqv8UsHOQio4Ta0s4ho8GmpaFIuWu7BVRO6z_0F6zDb1vPmDmNei9Bzq5qrXGTUd2C6nFGzf7MbMytQIXrxXbehBtdrDVA7sDS30GlQ-2l-8jHFqtR-s_-i40z1zZcBbE2wFIhC-CESz/s1600/20130829_172436.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyeqv8UsHOQio4Ta0s4ho8GmpaFIuWu7BVRO6z_0F6zDb1vPmDmNei9Bzq5qrXGTUd2C6nFGzf7MbMytQIXrxXbehBtdrDVA7sDS30GlQ-2l-8jHFqtR-s_-i40z1zZcBbE2wFIhC-CESz/s320/20130829_172436.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Secure felt material to cut out paper shapes and accurately cut them out.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Stitch some lines onto the tail and a wing of each bird before attaching both of them onto the body of a bird. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUsxk9j81DCg1NCCR9QL8tJ72dDJjZVFTm98DGc7vX8QB0Uhpj0oYnX_j0E_ne58dki5MlVe-5xb31C8A7FtPgSrFidB-ib3QUl8-DxvkyLBXFsVQ1MkPGbkxdfjjqBW2CWjkYjuq1P2ZD/s1600/20130829_174939.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUsxk9j81DCg1NCCR9QL8tJ72dDJjZVFTm98DGc7vX8QB0Uhpj0oYnX_j0E_ne58dki5MlVe-5xb31C8A7FtPgSrFidB-ib3QUl8-DxvkyLBXFsVQ1MkPGbkxdfjjqBW2CWjkYjuq1P2ZD/s320/20130829_174939.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Use a regular stitch to attach the wing to the body of your felt parrot. Because we are stitching front to the back later, we need some space left for our traditional blanket stitch, therefore stitch the wing few mm from the edge of the body. Stitch the eye into place at this stage as well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE-6sMvTzCvwjB5-0rZ4L0x6Ut5TwFo2XBO_6yRfodIOFGgV-zmlNkihe_s_2OjBofc4y7FJCLWOktJCsTlOu9tPBCkKohoOXl1fcR25RQo7vAFhw94NMpKKYRLN1C_6-Ggk7XY6qySMlj/s1600/20130829_180104.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE-6sMvTzCvwjB5-0rZ4L0x6Ut5TwFo2XBO_6yRfodIOFGgV-zmlNkihe_s_2OjBofc4y7FJCLWOktJCsTlOu9tPBCkKohoOXl1fcR25RQo7vAFhw94NMpKKYRLN1C_6-Ggk7XY6qySMlj/s320/20130829_180104.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTYkgHL3LG2ggsPP-dLHag-LpAnoLEsl-dT54MEWe962g1rKMJsi1gEBWRdTCEQnb-5_zm0MlHZ6jwN7KYNxLT-m9ys-97WIhmAWzM0-NSxyqV7EYz9hqDB_NJy-JCuMzanwYwZlNP4MP-/s1600/20130829_181300.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTYkgHL3LG2ggsPP-dLHag-LpAnoLEsl-dT54MEWe962g1rKMJsi1gEBWRdTCEQnb-5_zm0MlHZ6jwN7KYNxLT-m9ys-97WIhmAWzM0-NSxyqV7EYz9hqDB_NJy-JCuMzanwYwZlNP4MP-/s320/20130829_181300.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After you had stitched all little parts onto the front of the body, start stitching both sides together with blanket stitch. When you come to the bottom part of the body, put the tail in between (2-3 mm) two sides so that you can secure it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWsbu104d5XOKpFliCN41CqzocTYMIJxxKl9TB3qQIPgfL9Zviwt2laWGQbE0Pv8M_PyKkrjw71jc37FxzfZsTW62lZctoOZkR5VClRWcv0JeiADXV18WVReJqUBxYJ00415t3OxrkqvQc/s1600/20130829_182836.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWsbu104d5XOKpFliCN41CqzocTYMIJxxKl9TB3qQIPgfL9Zviwt2laWGQbE0Pv8M_PyKkrjw71jc37FxzfZsTW62lZctoOZkR5VClRWcv0JeiADXV18WVReJqUBxYJ00415t3OxrkqvQc/s320/20130829_182836.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Do the same step with parrot's beak, although it's a bit more difficult because it's a smaller part. After that it complete, finish the rest of the body.
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNIN_mRIyF2kIXdRhyphenhyphen5ZUmRov6IVUP9ymI-7WP1gRGzZN8jK4JRQTiO0w-yFa7rjdxvdFz3JXSNN-yijY0dAG1iT4IVBSgtLGCq90A9T9Cb1v103MRssASxjItA3lPR_axChRpXZNyoJeL/s1600/20130829_191037.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNIN_mRIyF2kIXdRhyphenhyphen5ZUmRov6IVUP9ymI-7WP1gRGzZN8jK4JRQTiO0w-yFa7rjdxvdFz3JXSNN-yijY0dAG1iT4IVBSgtLGCq90A9T9Cb1v103MRssASxjItA3lPR_axChRpXZNyoJeL/s320/20130829_191037.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using a fabric glue, glue the inner eye into place. And you are done.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you want to go all the way with this tutorial, cut out flowers and leaves and stitch them to the branch (same principles apply- cut 2 identical shapes, stitch them together and fill it in with cotton balls or any other material you prefer). With regular stitch, attach the leaves to the branch first and then flowers. Be careful not to sew the birds or the flowers through both sides of the branch. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And this part is optional, but you can also stitch a ribbon in between the back of the birds and the front of the branch (unless the back of this decoration will be hung against the wall and no one will ever see it) and hang it up anywhere you want.</div>
<br />

Like I had promised, this is my first tutorial on how I created this cute owl. This is my first ever work with felt including stitches or paper patterns. If you want to learn how to do it, then keep reading:)</div>
Cut out a pattern, there are plenty of them on Internet, I just re- drew mine from a picture of a felt owl I have found on Google.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilbCecPK52sPC7jJ2vx4UGiUB4UUsmpFWK5JEBmFHF_dZIJ9oX4rQUbU8zWC_c0AJt21m104uiB62ji0Zdkiq-kiRc3bnNzBkyRqCcflVQhyrcQJk4zDZZHEL0SY5iEzb2rrvOwQksuC6U/s1600/20130827_222003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="231" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilbCecPK52sPC7jJ2vx4UGiUB4UUsmpFWK5JEBmFHF_dZIJ9oX4rQUbU8zWC_c0AJt21m104uiB62ji0Zdkiq-kiRc3bnNzBkyRqCcflVQhyrcQJk4zDZZHEL0SY5iEzb2rrvOwQksuC6U/s320/20130827_222003.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Secure all owl pattens to chosen felt fabric using sewing pins. Next using sewing chalk mark out the shapes and cut them out. Make sure to have 2 pairs of eyes, 2 body parts and 2 feet.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdj7Nywd4skGylDeZWNitmgU8uYPiEZ0Lewd2K5KmJaV3xrEDVWmdmCvGro8WN0tDL37FzQuj2Y5O0AMW2byHpiORrhpNX0FCtNKSvu0rLV4ti_cekJwhmdBOxUrnw_DzG95egLyMOj4E3/s1600/20130827_223226.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="163" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdj7Nywd4skGylDeZWNitmgU8uYPiEZ0Lewd2K5KmJaV3xrEDVWmdmCvGro8WN0tDL37FzQuj2Y5O0AMW2byHpiORrhpNX0FCtNKSvu0rLV4ti_cekJwhmdBOxUrnw_DzG95egLyMOj4E3/s320/20130827_223226.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Stitch few feathers with regular stitch on owl's tummy. When done, using a blanket stitch, sew the tummy to the body of an owl except the bottom, we'll stitch it later.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcaGKS-cyBdjHdpWT4ewA42VtWb_Diarh-mHXfAeHVSg1HZnY6JGH_ksT5CojwkJW7qxfk4i0hufKoPx5MuOO3alglXXe9GopWWNedJ5pyQKJ2dwhkzlNIlnoCKONWtobA6o2zbFYbIPrW/s1600/20130827_223330.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcaGKS-cyBdjHdpWT4ewA42VtWb_Diarh-mHXfAeHVSg1HZnY6JGH_ksT5CojwkJW7qxfk4i0hufKoPx5MuOO3alglXXe9GopWWNedJ5pyQKJ2dwhkzlNIlnoCKONWtobA6o2zbFYbIPrW/s320/20130827_223330.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfWC2Z0qyC0sKfXCPHND-CNhvPwE0L18JIv7IgQjYYREjvy4zOCAKjluwIOYl5t3Q_CHuAeqxzb8D1pT44uI27oy1FIT627u-lUuPx97M0_YiIPVM3pZ_lAL-HbRKoP_3hInM5sOIFbp0K/s1600/20130827_232321.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfWC2Z0qyC0sKfXCPHND-CNhvPwE0L18JIv7IgQjYYREjvy4zOCAKjluwIOYl5t3Q_CHuAeqxzb8D1pT44uI27oy1FIT627u-lUuPx97M0_YiIPVM3pZ_lAL-HbRKoP_3hInM5sOIFbp0K/s320/20130827_232321.jpg" width="251" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Sew whites of both eyes to a chosen colour "8" shape with blanket stitch.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfJg8jukTedALECvZZLcA9jhWTBbRjQUFYZNrSuwDN72WonyeZ6If03IPCO2scc9C-F14r3c4nnfhlqHCjT9ea0jNjwOEA_vMZz-oE_LvX4W_3FLl8PbpF8pcVj2J8vfH0VTYFl-zcMde8/s1600/20130828_003004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfJg8jukTedALECvZZLcA9jhWTBbRjQUFYZNrSuwDN72WonyeZ6If03IPCO2scc9C-F14r3c4nnfhlqHCjT9ea0jNjwOEA_vMZz-oE_LvX4W_3FLl8PbpF8pcVj2J8vfH0VTYFl-zcMde8/s320/20130828_003004.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Sew "8" shape to the body with the same stitch and if you want you can add a bow or any other accessory before you stitch both body parts together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiMxU1jmamzNUXrubnhE4nZ7-zMGYRUkGRLqEs51-tHHiTzVif3mypN_A0bXnFJo3xJx3N3L6W9e4CP1pZsvmo2l5WV2C4ow6OPZKOdW4lrhB2svr3AXD1vZG-gs1bYoRYXADUVcttRzw8/s1600/20130828_011816.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="313" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiMxU1jmamzNUXrubnhE4nZ7-zMGYRUkGRLqEs51-tHHiTzVif3mypN_A0bXnFJo3xJx3N3L6W9e4CP1pZsvmo2l5WV2C4ow6OPZKOdW4lrhB2svr3AXD1vZG-gs1bYoRYXADUVcttRzw8/s320/20130828_011816.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Stitch both body parts together with blanket stitch, don't forget to leave some space to stuff your owl with cotton or any other filler you prefer and place cut out feet into place and sew up the rest of the body.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmGZro2uaFcbDh8kGWZrTt0NYlxNErJg5Fv960eP4rv8F0TPuWOv6nDOF504YxTNfQGnz6KWno-K-FNAytg0Q_BkgDuGiiQMhz5bWZv8QIbUrG-GQc3GF6yalBDk9nt8YF9spuVVnQMQ2j/s1600/20130830_025348.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmGZro2uaFcbDh8kGWZrTt0NYlxNErJg5Fv960eP4rv8F0TPuWOv6nDOF504YxTNfQGnz6KWno-K-FNAytg0Q_BkgDuGiiQMhz5bWZv8QIbUrG-GQc3GF6yalBDk9nt8YF9spuVVnQMQ2j/s320/20130830_025348.jpg" width="259" /></a></div>
<br />
Using a fabric glue, glue the beak and irises into place. For eyes, you can use buttons or already made felt circles.<br />

You had probably noticed different name and description of my blog which I kept changing this past week or two and many might have already understood what I had started doing!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>It`s Felt Crafting!</b><br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b></b>Approximately a month ago I came across a post which had described how to create a felt basket. It clicked right then that that`s what I like or would probably enjoy doing. So there it is, the secret is out. These past 3 days I had already created 2 things with one being completely finished just over 10 minutes ago. I took step by step pictures of each craft and will be posting 2 separate blog posts in the next couple of days if I have the energy as it`s new to me and I still haven`t figured out how I`m going to edit my 2 page step by step tutorials, but I hope it will become easier with time:) I hope you like my little secret and are waiting to see my creations! </div>

So far, I have found so many amazing things/people from all around the world that have an interest in it , and to think that I might join it soon is just so exiting! First of all I want to make my little corner in our spare bedroom, which means absolutely everything- shelves, desk and of course materials. I want to make it cozy and warm looking. Until then, I will start re-doing my blog to suit my future hobby:)Alonahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15425212002814895949noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793834804601766822.post-3847228842094367232013-08-13T01:55:00.001+01:002013-08-13T01:55:34.255+01:00ChangesI finally have found a good use for my blog. In the next few weeks I will be re- vamping it to suit what I'm hoping to start doing as soon as get everything sorted! I will keep you guys updated on the process and when I finally start, I will reveal/explain it in depth. I'm going to leave you at that, it will be interesting to know what you think it's going to be!<br />

I'm back again, I know I keep disappearing but up until now I had nothing major to tell you. First things first, I got a new dog! It was my childhood dream to become an owner of a dog some day and approximately 3 weeks ago I finally got one. She was already named and now thinking about it, Bella suits her so much! She is 1,5 years old and is an Australian Terrier. She is absolutely adorable, so playful!<br />

And here is another surprise, you finally get to see me!

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We were at the park few weeks ago, so I had to keep her beside me all the time as I already knew that she would jump absolutely on anyone passing by and would bark at every dog that is bigger than herself! So, that is my small change:) Hope you have a good night and stay tuned for more posts.</div>

<br />
I have an Owl Hobby! It was a coincidence! I was randomly browsing for a sleepy type of an owl for my Twitter status, when I came across a collection of painted owls by K. Chin artist (not promoting this person). I have made a little start up collection from different people or websites. It became my long term hobby, so now I'm collecting everything owl related. I'm still in search of owl decor in shops near by, and I have found few, which hopefully I will buy next week for our house. I plan to decorate our house with few owl bits- Owl door stops are a must, Dunnes (shop in our area) sold them few months ago, but I didn't think about it then, which I regret now.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Apart from my picture collection, I have something owl related back at my parents house, which my mum bought for me, but I still haven't seen it- so I'm really looking forward to heading back home!<br />
Here, you can see few photos ( I've put them together, so I could show you more) from my growing collection :)<br />
Enjoy!<br />

This field trip was probably the worst one so far. Basically, Green way is located on the West side of the country. It's a 42 km cycling track/path where you hire a bike and cycle as much as you want. Of course, we didn't have a choice but to cycle straight ahead and never turn around, because of crazy bus driver was already at the finish line, waiting at Mulranny Hotel! I was half dead by the end of 3 HOUR cycle!<br />
The views were beautiful when you neared the bay and the hotel, but before it, you only see sheep and empty fields. The wind was aweful- blew at your face the whole way, which made it difficult to cycle. All in all we had cycled only 18 or 20 km of it, which is still a lot, my body hadn't forgiven me that trip yet.<br />
What can I say? If you do some sort of physical activity each day or at least on a regular basis, you would probably be ok, and even cycle to the very end of that track, but I pass! I haven't cycled since I was an early teenager, and I will not sit on a bike for another 10 years or so!<br />
Here is a pic I took while on a mini break I did every now and then. Beautiful, isn't it? ( As you can see, it's near the bay)<br />
Bye everyone and stay fit :)<br />

I always love to write during night time, that's when I can get my thoughts organised. I've been off the Blog for so long and so many things have happened. I won't go too far back with the events, and just focus on college. I'm almost at a finish line, guys! Right now, I have about 3 weeks left which are packed with a lot of work. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the end of this semester so I can finally relax!<br />
As for my Blog, I've decided to post few separate entries tonight, all unrelated to each other.<br />
Stay tuned!<br />

TimochkaIt's a sad note that I had decided to write after a long time. At the end of March, my second Guinea Pig Tima had died! It was a very bad evening for me, I haven't seen him before that, due to college.He was of course, one of the best pets I ever had. Because it's so heartbreaking when they die, I've decided not to have anymore pets...Timochka will never be replaced by any other domestic animal, as well as Simochka.<br />

I'm back to writing! Again, for those who follow my blog -sorry for no writing anything for so long, I have reasons not to put my nose here!!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUSuUI8wGD4saF75xViMDum_gWTeQj5O66HsxXvc6PFw4CwiDueGv2Tca1k3SOAeq6CsA1BQSWQkBNHwZ0POmV4BTwQV8oNt6SfJOsgSO-TwjVOBiLs5TlavzvXBbYtPuF3YRzidefqSXj/s1600/20thbirthdayimagelogo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="152" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUSuUI8wGD4saF75xViMDum_gWTeQj5O66HsxXvc6PFw4CwiDueGv2Tca1k3SOAeq6CsA1BQSWQkBNHwZ0POmV4BTwQV8oNt6SfJOsgSO-TwjVOBiLs5TlavzvXBbYtPuF3YRzidefqSXj/s200/20thbirthdayimagelogo.jpg" width="200" /></a> Few days back I've entered my 20's i.e. had a wonderful Birthday!! Everything seemed more emotional to me, maybe it's the age now ...ha ha... anyway, it was a perfect day, everything was just great!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
Another and probably the main reason I haven't been here is because I'm in my final college year and I'd been piled up with loads of projects and whatnot. That's probably what most people hear from me when they ask how am I doing - It's all college! Exams are almost here, so you won't see me for another long and stressful month, but that's student life for you.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://educationworksonline.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/college-student8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="132" src="http://educationworksonline.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/college-student8.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway, hope everyone is doing good. Xmas is almost here, so that's is one of the things I'm looking forward to. What about you, guys<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 16px;">?</span><br />

Next week I'm back into my final year at college- sad and exciting!!! Honestly, I forgot how to hold a pen..... it's been almost a year since I've studied something!! And with my major June exceptions, it will be hard to keep my mind JUST on my studies. So many things to be done throughout the year, but I'm excited!!!<br />
